TXST JV’s inaugural match was against a much more experienced UTSA side that made the JV pay for small mistakes. UTSA stretched its lead to 45-3 by the final whistle. The score was not indicative OF the JV’s effort, which was a good one. The JV will certainly develop into a solid and consistent side with increased playing time. The Varsity XV Started strong and never let off the gas against UofH. The Cougars could not get a consistent attack going against a strong TXST defense & TXST took advantage of every UofH mistake.
