The JV Side went down to play Prarie View A&M for the first time ever and saw that taking someone lightly due to their inexperience can get you in trouble. PV is in their first season and has some very good athletes and good basic instincts. Once they have some seasoning and improved skills can be very dangerous. Nonetheless, they had it pout together enough to give TXST JV a lesson in respect, handing them a 29-7 loss. The JV side prepares for Sam Houston State this week as the Bearcats come to SMTX next Saturday Night (7pm) to take on the JV Side. Varsity continues to prepare for the upcoming ACRC Bowl Championships in Charlotte, NC in two weeks.
